Pancreas transplant success rates
Survival rates for pancreas transplant patients are tracked nationally by the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients.
This data does not reflect how sick the patient was at the time of transplant. Patients who come to University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, for pancreas transplant are often high-risk, very ill patients. Because of this, they may have been unable to get a pancreas transplant at another center.
