Nationally recognized pancreas care
University of Minnesota Medical Center is the only medical center in the Twin Cities metro area to be named a National Pancreas Foundation Center. Only 30 medical centers nationwide received this designation, which recognizes centers that focus on multidisciplinary treatment of pancreatitis.
When you choose to receive your care with us, you’re not only seeing doctors, but also researchers who work across the boundaries of our specialties to collaborate on treatment plans and come up with original solutions to medical conditions. University of Minnesota Medical Center provides world-class care for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases associated with the pancreas, bile duct and gall bladder.
In addition to treating simple conditions such as gallstones, the medical center's team of pancreas and biliary specialists holds weekly conferences where they discuss complex cases and share experimental treatments for more advanced conditions such as pancreatic cancer and chronic pancreatitis. Our expertise means you can have great confidence in us.
If you have several digestive health related conditions, we make it easy for you to see our team of experts.
