Kidney transplant success rates
Survival rates for kidney transplant patients are tracked nationally by the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients.
This data does not reflect how sick the patient was at the time of transplant. Patients who come to University of Minnesota Medical Center for kidney transplant often are high-risk, very ill patients. Because of this, they may have be unable to get a kidney transplant at another center.
