Critical Care Surgery
Patients in Critical Care at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, are treated by trained surgical intensivists. Those with complex conditions are cared for by a highly integrated, multidisciplinary surgical critical care team, including pharmacists, nutritionists, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and social workers.
Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is the central site of our long-standing ICU training program, recognized as one of the best in the country.
