Welcome to The Birthplace at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, where nearly 3,000 babies are born each year. Our patients take advantage of our newly renovated facilities and the staff that for years has been known for providing a birth experience that is sought out by so many. Routine and complex births are handled with care by The Birthplace team and coordinated with pediatric specialists at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital. Private labor and birthing rooms are equipped with innovative technology to ensure the best for you and your baby.
