The Primary Care Center at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairivew offers a broad range of health care for all ages. We are your full-service clinic with the benefit of easy access to both specialists with University of Minnesota physicians and clinical research. We offer family medicine, health psychology, internal medicine, pediatrics, and pharmaceutical care.
Family Medicine
Our primary care providers handle general family care needs – for all ages – as well as more complex health matters. We perform general procedures (such as mole removals), treat injuries and offer sports medicine conveniently in the clinic.
Health Psychology
Health psychology at the Primary Care Center involves helping patients cope with family issues, chronic illness and disabilities. We also offer programs for weight management, quitting smoking and motivational issues.
Internal Medicine
The Primary Care Center offers general adult internal medicine. We collaborate with specialists at the University of Minnesota in treating complicated cases, assuring patients the best possible care.
Pediatrics
Our general practitioners and specialty med-peds (internal and pediatric medicine) offer complete pediatric care. Patients with complicated cases can access University of Minnesota specialists directly through our collaborative, campus-based clinic.
Pharmaceutical Care
With medication, blood pressure, diabetes, lipid management and more, the Primary Care Center offers complete pharmaceutical care. We work with providers to get the most economical and effective medications for our patients.
