The Neuropathy Center provides multidisciplinary care for the management of neuropathy. We strive to simplify understanding and dealing with this bewildering disease of the nerves that causes numbness, pain and weakness.
While neuropathy is most often related to diabetes (in the U.S.), its onset can also be traced to numerous other causes – and in some cases, there is no known cause. Because of this, we at the Neuropathy Center use a full spectrum of diagnostic tools in assessing your condition along with a comprehensive examination in determining your individualized treatment plan.
We care for:
- Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease (CMT)
- Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneurophy (CIDP)
- Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS)
- Neuropathic Pain
- Neuropathy
- Small Fiber Neuropathy
Taking full advantage of the multispeciality resources of University of Minnesota Physicians, we work with:
- Genetic testing and counselors
- Health counselors
- Pain management specialists
- Rehabilitation services
Along with this, we are continually involved with the latest in clinical research and access the most innovative treatments through the University of Minnesota’s world-class academic medicine.
