Information for physicians and their staffs on referring patients to University of Minnesota Physicians

The staff of University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, along with our partners, University of Minnesota Physicians and community physicians, is committed to providing exceptional clinical care.

We offer primary care, provide emergency care and deliver thousands of babies every year. In addition to caring for patients with complex conditions, areas of specialization include organ transplantation, blood and marrow transplantation, heart disease, cancer, neurosciences, orthopaedics, and behavioral illnesses.

We have made it easy for you to refer patients to any of our physicians through our Physician Referral Service. Through this service you can schedule patient appointments or request consultations with University of Minnesota Physicians specialists. We value our relationship with you, your patients and your office staff. We work hard to keep you informed of your patients’ care by providing detailed reports, from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up.
