Services

Maternal-fetal medicine patients who receive care at our Burnsville location also have access to the Level IIV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital, which provides the highest level of neonatal intensive care available.

Maternal-Fetal Medicine Centers offer expert, compassionate care for pregnant women and their unborn babies. Board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialists (formerly called perinatalogists) collaborate with neonatologists, geneticists and other pediatric specialists to provide the highest level of care for moms and their babies. We have the only perinatal clinics in Minnesota that are part of the University of Minnesota National Center Of Excellence in Women’s Health.

We understand you value your relationship with your primary care provider or obstetrician. In many instances you’re able to continue your care with him or her, and deliver your baby at your local hospital. There are times, though, your provider may recommend that you transfer your prenatal care to us for care of maternal conditions, or if you receive a test result or ultrasound indicating a possible concern in your developing baby. You can depend on our specialists to provide compassionate, critical care and support for the best possible outcome for your pregnancy.
