Pain-Free After 25 Years....Finally!Kevin had a painful condition known as pancreatitis. After having a Total Pancreatectomy and Islet Auto-Transplant in 2009 at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, he woke up and was pain free for the first time in his life. “I only wish I would’ve done it sooner.”

I Owe My Recovery to the StaffAfter battling with various liver conditions and receiving unsuccessful treatment at other places, Mary came to University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, where she had a liver transplant and is now able to live a normal, active life.
Returning to the DiamondIn 2002, TJ was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Eventually, he found himself at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, where surgery gave him the chance to return to normal life - as a husband, a father and bullpen coach for the St. Paul Saints.
