Pain-Free After 25 Years....Finally!

Kevin had a painful condition known as pancreatitis. After having a Total Pancreatectomy and Islet Auto-Transplant in 2009 at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, he woke up and was pain free for the first time in his life. “I only wish I would’ve done it sooner.”

After battling with various liver conditions and receiving unsuccessful treatment at other places, Mary came to University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, where she had a liver transplant and is now able to live a normal, active life.
